Theatre that lives in the villages, not just in the capital.
Malo Crniće is hosting FEDRAS, the festival of village amateur drama in Serbia, which has been running since 1972. The country's best amateur theatres gather here; over the years more than 400 plays have been staged in Serbian, Romanian, Hungarian, Rusyn, Slovak, Albanian and other languages. Besides theatre, there are poets, artists, musicians and round tables.
A great chance to see real rural Serbia.
