GUTOLOGY — an exhibition by Stjepko Gut
What happens when a jazz trumpeter picks up a camera.

Forty years ago, Yugoslav rock took a big step forward.
In 2026 the album “Distorzija” by Električni orgazam turns exactly forty, and the Belgrade Youth Centre is marking it with an exhibition. The record came out on Jugoton in 1986 and made the band famous across the former Yugoslavia: catchy songs, powerful choruses, stage glam and, at the same time, solid rock-and-roll roots. The album featured Gile, Švaba, Čavke and Banana.
The exhibition is on the plateau in front of the Cvijeta Zuzorić Pavilion in Kalemegdan. It sounds like a great excuse for a stroll around the fortress, and to remember what we all once belted out in the car. Or to pretend we did.
