In Belgrade, the Odeon theatre is staging the musical «Julija i Romeo», based on Shakespeare's classic. Expect sumptuous period costumes, music, dancing and emotions that should win over audiences of all ages. The show is on Sunday, 8 November 2026, at 12:00, so you'll have the rest of the day free.

From the description: the story will be magical and humorous, about courage, friendship and a belief in love that changes the world. Actors and dancers from different countries will perform, and the organisers call it «a little festival of colour, movement and feeling». The Odeon theatre is at Neznanog Junaka 1. I confess I'm already bracing myself to get emotional anyway, even though I know the ending by heart 😅
