October in Belgrade: the events listings are bursting at the seams

I've put together the essentials from the digest, because picking just one thing here is almost impossible. On Saturday 17.10 there's the birthday of the Back on Rack second-hand market, a farmers' food market on Avala and an exhibition by the Art Akademija project. After that come the Rinku Japanese Autumn Festival (18.10), a Bi-2 concert (20.10) and the Belgrade Jazz Festival (21–24.10).

There are also longer-running things: the BEMUS classical music festival (17–30.10), Kids Fest (until 24.10), a pickles fair in Čukarica (19–23.10), Belgrade Bar Show (23.10) and the international book fair (23–31.10). From 23.10 the ice rink opens in Tašmajdan, and on Mondays the Nikola Tesla Museum runs free tours for children. The full programme with dates is below, in the original.
