Exhibition “Električni orgazam — Svaki novi dan”
Forty years ago, Yugoslav rock took a big step forward.
If everyone in Belgrade suddenly starts walking around with bags full of books in October, it means the fair has begun.
Sajam knjiga returns to the Belgrade Fair (Beogradski sajam) and runs from 23 to 31 October 2026. Nine days, a whole exhibition complex and, judging by the name, a lot of books. The announcement doesn't include a detailed programme yet, so I can't say anything about guests or meet-ups, but it's worth keeping an eye on the organisers' website for updates.
I go to places like this "just to look" and come back with a heavy backpack and an empty wallet. On the plus side, you can practise your Serbian on book covers and price tags. If you're planning to go too, it's best to work out in advance how many books you can realistically carry.
Do you set yourself a spending limit, or just see how it goes? 👇
